If you're in the YouTube Partner Program, you may be able to earn money through:

Some of these monetization features have different eligibility requirements. This article will tell you how to plough on each of these features if you're eligible.

Before you start: Make sure y'all've completed all the steps to turn on monetization for your channel and set upwards an AdSense account for payments.

Plough on ads

If your video meets our advertiser-friendly content guidelines, you can plow on ads. If y'all're non sure your video is eligible, check out the self-certification guidance and examples on that folio. Follow these instructions to turn on ads for multiple videos you've already uploaded:

  1. Sign in to YouTube.
  2. Go to YouTube Studio.
  3. In the left menu, select Content.
  4. Select the grey box on the left of the video thumbnail for any video you want to monetize.
  5. Click the Edit dropdown in the black bar above your video list > click Monetization.
  6. Click On in the monetization dropdown.
    • To change ad settings in bulk: Click Add edit.
  7. Click Update videos and then check the box adjacent to "I understand the consequences of this activity" and then click Update videos.

  1. On a computer, sign in to your Google Account.
  2. Go to the Memberships page.
  3. Click Become started and follow the on-screen instructions.

Plough on the merchandise shelf

The merchandise shelf allows some creators to showcase their official branded trade on YouTube. The merch shelf appears on some video pages of eligible channels.

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
  2. In the left menu, click Monetization.
  3. Click the Merchandise tab. You'll only come across this choice if your channel is eligible.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to become your Teespring Store ID and link it to your YouTube channel.

Turn on Super Chat & Super Stickers
